Lost & Found Pets

Many pets go missing in our area, but there are steps you can take to help reunite them with their owners.

If you find a pet:

Start by checking with nearby neighbors.
Submit a found pet report on our website.
Post and search on the Facebook page “Semo Lost Pets.”
Take the pet to a local veterinarian to scan for a microchip, or contact us to see if we have availability to scan.
Please be prepared to temporarily care for the pet, as we may not always have space available immediately.

If you are missing a pet:

Make sure your pet has a microchip and an ID tag with your current contact information.
Report your missing pet through the Lost & Found section on the Semopets website.
Post and check updates on the Facebook page “Semo Lost Pets.”
Contact and check with local veterinarians.

Working together as a community greatly increases the chances of bringing pets back home safely.
